It all started with Reformer Pilates. We were big fans, and quickly realised that the right gear was key. Not just to avoid injuries, but to get the maximum benefit from workouts. Reformer equipment and athleisure were easy to find – but one tiny thing proved more difficult. Socks.

Standard athletic socks weren’t right for Reformer. They were too hot, too thick and had no grip – meaning slips, falls and struggling to stay in pose. Worse, they tended to be ugly and unfashionable – not ideal for the style-conscious Pilates crowd. Friends who took Barre classes had similar issues.

That’s when the S Vibe concept was born. Stylish, comfortable and safe socks were made with Reformer Pilates and Barre in mind. After developing designs and testing materials, S Vibe now supplying studios and stores all over New Zealand.

But that’s far from the end of the S Vibe story – we’re always looking for fresh designs, new product ideas and new ways to make workouts safer and stylier for Kiwis.
